For a project we made ‘drawing machines’ and we have to make something from what our ‘machine’ gives us. My group just made a track for some paint-covered RC cars…didn’t get much on my canvas but meh.
Here’s what came to mind from just a couple of splatters of paint. WIP, obviously, though I wonder if I really should do something like this for a school project. Hopefully putting this under a read-more will lower the amount of followers I lose for drawing things like this…
Got some of the sketches for my next commissions done, so I gave myself a bit of time to sketch out an idea I had. I only just saw the leaked images from the next issue of the MLP comic, and I instantly fell in love with Nightmare Rarity’s design. I HAD to draw her. …and then I HAD to make it a crossover as well. Eheheh.
So here are both my rough sketches, the only difference is that the top one has blocked in color so it’s easier to tell where things are and what overlaps what. The colors in no way reflect what colors I’ll use when I hopefully go back to finish this after I get some more commissions done.
And if anyone was wondering if I could draw anthropomorphic ponies, here’s your answer~

I sketched my first return update on tuesday, I’m only now getting around to linearting and coloring.
I dunno if I’m the only ask blog that does this or not, but I keep all parts of the photoset in the same PSD file to ensure they’re the same size and whatnot, the only exception being if I have some sort of splash panel. Considering that I’m going to be using full color for updates now, I really hope I don’t run out of layers…
